Daywind Records Introduces The Live At Oak Tree Series

Daywind Records has always had a strong belief in forging new paths of opportunity for ministry through artists and music. As a result of that commitment, the company began an incredible series with artists called Live At Oak Tree.

The Live At Oak Tree series takes the artists’ music and life testimonies and presents them in an intimate setting, giving the viewer/listener an opportunity to feel as if they are sitting in the living room with each individual artist, getting to know them and their heart. Some have said that this series is “better than a backstage pass.”

Michael Turner, Director of Marketing at Daywind, shared, “There really isn’t anything in our genre like these projects, and what sets this series apart is not only the studio setting, but also the inside look into the heart of the artist. We’ve been able to capture the artists in an intimate and personal setting, and they have shared stories about the songs they love to sing and life on and off the road.”

The first series of three Live At Oak Tree recordings, released in the spring, included Austins Bridge, Aaron & Amanda Crabb, and Crabb Revival. The second series, released this fall, included Greater Vision, Legacy Five, and the Booth Brothers. The third series, which will be released this February, includes Karen Peck & New River, Sisters, and Jeff & Sheri Easter. All of the recordings come in a CD/DVD combo format. You can order these great projects from your local Christian retail store or from one of the many online Christian music resources. Look for Live At Oak Tree programming on Gospel Music Channel and coming soon to INSP, the Inspirational Network.

Sisters Sign With Daywind Records

Daywind Records is pleased to announce the signing of the dynamic family trio, Sisters. Kim Ruppe Lord, Heather Ruppe Day, and Valerie Ruppe met in Hendersonville, TN, yesterday to make the long-term relationship with Daywind official. Plans for their first Daywind recording are underway.

Many will remember these three ladies from their years as a part of The Ruppes. Their soaring harmonies are unforgettable. From the song they made a classic, “Angels In The Room,” to their stunning hit song, “Under His Wings,” these Sisters know how to deliver great music and ministry.

Daywind Records' president, Ed Leonard said, "What an unbelievable sound and anointing these ladies bring to our music. We are honored to work with them.”

Kim Ruppe Lord expressed her excitement about the future, “Sisters has been our dream for a long time. We’ve just had to wait for the ‘right’ time. We believe that Daywind is a door that God has opened for us. We are excited to work with this excellent team. We are standing on the verse from Ephesians 3:20, ‘Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.'”

You may find Sisters on tour with their extended family group, Lordsong, or you may find all of them on a Mark Lowry tour event, but Daywind Records is proud that you can also find them here, as a part of the great family of Daywind artists.
